Mikołaj Hudko
I’m currently studying Algorithmic Computer Science at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST). This field of study differs from other IT fields at this university by focusing more on mathematics and theoretical computer science. I’ve started my studies with Cybersecurity and changed my field on the third semester.
The courses I've taken so far
1st semester: - Engineering Ethics - Information Technologies - Intellectual Property, Law, and Copyright - Linear Algebra and Analytic Geometry - Mathematical Analysis 1.2A - Measurement Techniques 1 - OHS training course - Philosophy - Programming Principles 2nd semester: - Advanced combinatorics - Cybersecurity essentials - Linear Algebra 2 - Mathematical Analysis 2.3A - Measurement Techniques 2 - Object Programming - Physics 1.1A - Princinples of telecommunications - Probability Theory - Systems Theory 3rd semester: - Databases and Information Management - Logic and Formal Structures - Probability and Statistical Methods - Software Engineering - System Architecture and Operating Systems 4th semester: - Abstract Algebra and Coding - Algorithms and Data Structures - Basics of Economics - Computer Security - Discrete Mathematics - Network Technologies - Programming in Logic (Prolog) - Chosen Topics of Algebra 5th semester: - Algorithms for Discrete Optimization - Group Programming - Formal Languages and Translation Techniques - Introduction to Graph Theory - Programming Environment - Scientific Computation 6th semester: - Embedded Systems - Introduction to Artificial Intelligence - Modern Web Technologies - Programming - Monographic Lecture (Haskell and Category Theory) - Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science 7th semester: - Diploma Thesis - Methods of Software DevelopmentI am a programmer at the Academic Aviation Club of WUST. We design, construct, wire and program the missions of Unarmed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) such us quadcopters, hexacopters, and planes. I have regularly represented the University at competitions, both in Poland and abroad. I specialize in mission control software and user interface design. Some of the projects I’ve contributed to are:
- SAE Aero Design East and West 2024, 2025
- Droniada Challenge 2023-2025
- New Flying Competition 2025
I’ve also been a member of the Chamber Choir of Wrocław University of Science and Technology since I have joined in September of 2022. In 2025 I began my formal music education at the Ryszard Bukowski National Music School in Wrocław, playing the bassoon.
In 2022 I’ve graduated the prestigous No. 3 Adam Mickiewicz High School in Wrocław with honors. I was a student of the academic mathematics profile led by the Univerity of Wrocław.
